Every brand will have an app: CNN lands with a paid live news app. but why paid?

We're not sure the paid choice is a wise one. But the app will definitely be a benchmark for other news networks.

CNN Mobile is a live news app. It costs $1.99. You can download it here [only in the US app store]

For live news CNN will be competing with its own live breaking news on Twitter which also brings the information (less the rich media maybe)

It is not the first CNN app, they also have a free one for CNN Money and i'm sure more will come.
