Not sure it really matters. but Apple changed the structure of All its apps URLs (or 1 more reason to use getap.ps)

Ok this is probably not the biggest news of the month, but Apple just changed today the way the apps URL are structured. And actually it has a little more meaning that before.

For those who don't know each single app has URL link that you can copy from the iTunes store. Until now those URLs were not saying much

example: Kindle for iPhone

Until now

From now

Probably more understandable, including the name of the app and the country store (although the URLs are country agnostic), better for SEO, but still not really memorizable and way less juice than Getap.ps

As a matter of fact, if you are a developers using a getap.ps/YOURAPP (eg: getap.ps/Deezer ) url instead this does not matter at all, since it will always point to the same page and will give you all the analytics juice we provide

ps: another slight changed we notice is that when you want to change country, the United States shop is not place all above but in the right place in alphabetic order with other stores

ps: some users noticed that might create some bug. Apple?

That might explain why my app, 'Say it & Mail it' mysteriously disappeared from the app store yesterday. I was in a panic. But it re-appeared in the store today.
