Super smart integration of getap.ps by Reebok/iSprint App

I recently re-discovered iSprint App, which is really really fun [created for Reebok by UsTwo] . I was curious to check how they integrated Twitter and score sharing and by doing so i was surprised to see how they included their the getap.ps short link we created for them (getap.ps/iSprint) 

This is the point: the getap.ps link is an easy way to broadcast, in the URL, the fact that your App is there. The integration in a viral message is even smarter. Your link to the app store should be in as many contact point as possible. But including in a non traditional web page (typically a tweet, is non convenient)

All the benefit is too watch the real time stats around those links, since this is precisely what this is about.

hey Amazon, how about http://getAp.ps/Kindle URL instead?

Great News, the great Kindle app is now available in more than 60 country, not just the USA.

So i rushed to download it. But..

Bad news the official Amazon PR mention a marathon-long URL that leads nowhere, probably because their PR department or agency wanted to add a tracker the iTunes URL. In addition it is unreadable (and unsharable)

So for yourself here

Firecast: interview with the iFog app founder, or how a successful app can nearly get you a Rolls Royce

1st preview on the new upcoming version of EcoTaxi: bringing carpooling everywhere

EcoTaxi is a nice app allowing to find and share a cab with others, saving time, money and some hassle. It is kind of similar to TaxiMagic but with a community feature allowing to share cost (and some time line ups). It became quite popular in the French app store (4th in the travel category)

It is now expanding out of France but also to a new related field: Carpooling. You will be able to find someone for a ride to share on the go (not just a cab) without requirement to plan anything in advance.

The new version is currently being reviewed by Apple but EcoTaxi shared with us a few screenshots. EcoTaxi is also one of our first partner to test our new sales tracking service GetAp.ps

Running an app is sometimes like running a business. And on the internet running a business is all about data and analytics. We released sometime ago a short link generator for iPhone apps that gives you reat time stats on the interaction with the link. But this is not enough.
