Running an app is sometimes like running a business. And on the internet running a business is all about data and analytics. We released sometime ago a short link generator for iPhone apps that gives you reat time stats on the interaction with the link. But this is not enough. To be honest the added value vs link shortener like bit.ly is limited except it add immediate context to your link. Our new widgets include also some real time stats but only on the impression /click side, and is more oriented at end users.
What would be really interesting: tracking your iPhone sales and their origin. TapTapTap has a nice
piece about that
Traditionally, it’s been fairly easy to do this when you had total control over your store, like when selling Mac or Windows software. But with the App Store, some new challenges have arisen and people have had to resort to some cunning ways to accomplish things which we’ve come to take for granted over the years.
We are currently working on a brand new solution for developers that will help you track your sales on the App Store via a smart link. We will release soon a new cool short URL you will be able to use to do that.
Now we need to finish our work :)
If you are a developer reading this interested in testing our solution contact us on contact AT appsfire DOT com
