So we look into our data and we discovered this number is correct if you look at the USA only. 

But if you look international (which we do because of our location) you’ll discover there are at least 10 000 more apps that are not in the US but present in the local app stores (don’t forget there are 90 app stores!)

Many apps are country specific and are only available in local countries (Tv guides, culture related apps…) This mainly explains the difference. And this only stresses how big is the App Store ecosystem globally
