What happened in the App Store in November?

Interestingly, many Rovio apps left the Top 25 in November:
- Angry Birds Free, Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio Free for iPhone
- Angry Birds HD Free, Angry Birds Rio HD Free, Angry Birds Seasons HD Free, Angry Birds Seasons HD, Angry Birds Space HD, Angry Birds Rio HD for iPad
This could be explained by the fact that the new versions of Angry Birds Star Wars and Angry Birds Star Wars HD were launched and they reached the Top 25 Paid App list the month of their launch.
iBooks lost its first place position and fell to #23 for the iPhone and #14 for iPad.
WhatsApp Messenger gained 13 places and is now the #1 Paid app.
Max Awesome is a Chillingo app launched in November. It did not reach the Top 25 ever in the month of its launch. In comparaison to Rovio, Chillingo don’t have the same sort of oomph to get their apps to the top of the rankings.
Fantastical, an app whose release we were the first to spot, reached #6 in the Top 25 Paid apps in November.
